What counts as a heavy flow?

Everyone's flow is different, and it can change from one cycle to the next. According to the Government of Canada's menstrual health guide, periods are considered heavy when they last longer than eight days, when you soak through a pad or tampon every hour for several hours, or when you pass clots larger than a toonie. Many people also have heavier days when they need to change often or get up at night.

Which period underwear should I choose for heavy flow?

Both styles have the same high-capacity absorbent zone. What changes is the cut:

  • The period boxer: fuller coverage, ideal overnight, for sports and your heaviest days. The absorbent zone covers more, which is reassuring when you're lying down. Sizes M to 3XL.
  • The invisible period underwear: no visible seams, it disappears under leggings, jeans and fitted clothes. Perfect for daytime, work or school. Sizes XS/S to XL/2XL.

How long can I wear it?

Our underwear offers up to 12 hours of protection depending on your flow. On your heaviest days, change more often, for example morning and evening, then wear it longer as your flow gets lighter. With two to four pairs, you can wear one while the others dry.

How does it work?

It's made of several layers: a soft fabric against your skin that wicks moisture away, an absorbent layer that holds your flow and neutralizes odours, and a waterproof barrier that protects your clothes and sheets. Everything is built in: nothing to insert, nothing that shifts.

Care tips so it lasts for years
